Get ready for a high energy celebration of musical theatre as York Stage brings MTI Broadway Junior Revue Raise Your Voice to life. This uplifting showcase features iconic songs from Broadway Junior favourites, performed by our talented young cast who are ready to sing out and shine.

Packed with big numbers, heartfelt moments and plenty of personality, this is a feel good show for the whole family. Come and support the next generation of performers as they take centre stage with confidence, courage and serious star quality.

Students will work with our York Stage School team to create a brand new version of MTI Broadway Junior Revue: Raise Your Voice across the week. There will be 3 public performances at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre at the end of the week. These performances will be ticketed and will go on sale through the Joseph Rowntree Theatre website in April.​​​

The programme is scheduled from Monday 3rd to Saturday 8th August at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, requiring daily attendance. Hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Friday from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Performers aged 7 to 18 can participate, with a limit of 50 spaces. Due to high demand, an audition may be required to secure a spot.

​

This year, for those young creatives who love theatre but are looking for an opportunity to explore what goes on behind the scenes, we are offering them the chance to take part in the programme and learn all about the backstage magic, with daily workshops in lighting, sound, set, costumes and props.

​

Public performances are scheduled for Friday, August 6th at 7.30pm and Saturday, August 8th at 2pm and 4pm.

​

The fee for the entire week is £235 per child, and we provide a 10% discount for siblings enrolling. To secure your child's spot, a £100 deposit is required at the time of registration.

 

Public tickets will be available for purchase through the Joseph Rowntree box office, priced at £22 each and £20 for concessions.  ​​​
