FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We understand and appreciate that you may have some questions before enrolling your child with York Stage School so we have shared some frequently asked questions that may be able to help. Of course, if you have any others questions or require assistance, drop us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
Do you offer a no obligation trial ?
Yes, you only pay for your first classes upon signing up with us and there is no commitment to the full termly fee until after this first class.
Do you offer sibling discount ?
Yes, we offer a discount of 10% to siblings.
Can we stay and watch our children ?
Family members of students aged 4 and over are not permitted into the studios, at the end of term we do welcome you to our end of term showings though. Parents attending our Yorkie Puds classes are required to stay with their child.
Is parking available on-site ?
Theatre@41 Monkgate does not have a car park however parking is available nearby at either Sainsbury's and Monk Bar Car Park. There is also on road parking for up to 10 minutes in nearby streets and outside the building.
Is there a strict uniform policy?
Whilst we do not have a strict uniform policy, we do ask that all students wear plain clothing in either black, grey or purple. Many of our students wear the York Stage School uniform and we have an online uniform shop which can be found at the top of this page
What should my child bring to class?
As well as suitable clothing that your child can freely move in, we would recommend suitable footwear, water bottle and hair bobble for long hair.
