York Stage School are proud to have a 100% pass with 98% of students achieving merit or distinction honours in our LAMDA Exams!

We offer LAMDA Musical Theatre Exams with classes starting each year from September. Our terms run across 10 week cycles culminating with students taking their exams just after the Easter holidays.

During the classes, small groups of children will be mentored and coached as they prepare solo songs for the LAMDA Musical Theatre Exams which will take place towards the end of the Summer term. Students will be expected to sing solo in front of their peers throughout this course. 

LAMDA Exams hold the equivalent value of a music grade. Like music grades, these Exams culminate at Grade 8 and students receive UCAS points for Grades 6+.
