ABOUT THE CLASS
York Stage School are proud to have a 100% pass with 98% of students achieving merit or distinction honours in our LAMDA Exams!
We offer LAMDA Acting Exams with classes starting each year from September. Our terms run across 10 week cycles culminating with students taking their exams just after the Easter holidays.
During the classes, small groups of children will be mentored and coached as they prepare material as individuals or in pairs for the LAMDA Exams which will take place towards the end of the Summer term. A LAMDA Exam is the speech and drama equivalent of a music grade. Like music grades, these Exams culminate at Grade 8 and students receive UCAS points for Grades 6+.
ENROLLMENT IS NOW CLOSED. Our next cohort will be taken in September 2025.
