SUMMER SCHOOL 2024
Join us for a summer packed with creativity, theatre making, and unforgettable memories.
Led by Principal Nik Briggs and our team of industry professionals, our Summer School - Show in a Week is the perfect place to unleash your talent, make new friends, and shine bright!
Across the week we’ll be making a brand new show using songs from your favourite musicals. This will be performed at Theatre@41 on the final day so if you love creating scripts, performing songs or learning dances this is the Summer School for you.
Families and friends will be able to book tickets for what is set to be a brilliant show and will be presented with full lighting, scenery, costumes and a live band!

My daughter absolutely loves Yorkie Puds, it is her favourite hour of the week. The classes are really good fun for both babies and adults with lots of singing and dancing and opportunity for little ones to get involved with lots of sensory play. The staff who organise the sessions are excellent, the booking process is easy and efficient and the venue is fab. Danielle who runs the classes is just brilliant, she makes everyone feel welcome and makes the sessions lots of fun every week. She is very creative, mixing up the themes for the class regularly so you never get bored, and it's lovely to have some time to chat to mums at the end of the class with a cuppa and lots of laughs!!
Our daughter has loved being a part of York Stage for around a year now. In that time she has grown in confidence and has had fantastic opportunites and experiences. Saturday mornings are a pure joy for her and we are excited to watch her progress more in the next few years.
Both of my daughters go to York Stage School and they absolutely love it. Their confidence has improved hugely and they've had wonderful opportunities through this school. They come bouncing out every week full of enthusiasm. Highly recommend!
