We are excited to announce the first of the York Stage School, WEST END WORKSHOPS with a session with acclaimed West End Director and Choreographer, Gary Lloyd.
Gary Lloyd has fast become one of the UK's most sought after Director / Choreographers.
Known for his crossover from music to theatre, Gary has worked as Creative Director with some of the world's biggest artists on their live performances and arena tours. These artists include Kelly Clarkson; Leona Lewis; Robbie Williams; PinkJohn Barrowman MBE; Peter Andre; Joe McElderry; Victoria Beckham; Jennifer Hudson; Sir Paul McCartney; Sir Cliff Richard; Dame Shirley Bassey; Sir Tom Jones; Robin Gibb; Will Young; Gareth Gates; Emma Bunton; Girls Aloud; Blue; Atomic Kitten; Basement Jaxx; and S Club 8.
Gary began his career in theatre where his passion remains, and his decade as a performer plays an integral part in his directorial style. Gary's work can be seen across the globe where he has worked with some of the industry's most legendary talent. Gary currently has two shows running on the West End, Heathers and Thriller Live.
Gary is also founder and managing director of Boss Talent Management.
Gary will spend a session teaching his brilliant Heather's choreography and staging to the participants who will have been taught the music before the workshop. They will be able to gain invaluable insight into working with a creative at a West End level and ask him questions throughout the day about forging careers in the arts and see what he looks for as a director, choreographer, agent and drama school audition panelist.
